Protege kepada penyanyi Ferhad dalam Mentor 6, Tisha, 26, membuat keputusan meninggalkan kampung halamannya di Pasir Puteh, Kelantan untuk menetap di Kuala Lumpur (KL) semata-mata untuk bergelar penyanyi.
Tisha atau nama sebenarnya Shanorbiah Shamsir Alam berkata, walaupun gagal bertanding ke peringkat akhir pertandingan Mentor 6, dia tidak akan tinggal di kampungnya untuk menjalani rutin seperti sebelum ini.
"Sebelum ini, saya gagal di peringkat uji bakat Mentor 6 dan pulang ke kampung dengan sedih. Apabila salah seorang peserta menarik diri, saya diberi peluang untuk menunjukkan bakat dalam program tersebut.
"Peluang sebegitu jarang dimiliki oleh sesiapa pun dan sebab itu saya rasakan menyertaiMentor 6 ibaratkan seperti langkah pertama saya untuk menjadi seorang penyanyi.
"Saya nekad untuk berhijrah ke KL meninggalkan kampung dan akan pulang sekali sekala sahaja," katanya.
Dalam pertandingan peringkat Separuh Akhir Mentor 6 pada Ahad lalu, Tisha mendapat undian terendah iaitu sebanyak 86 markah.
Kekalahan tersebut menyebabkan pesaingnya iaitu Anas, Caroline dan Zatul akan berentap pada acara kemuncak yang akan berlangsung pada 10 Jun ini.
Tambah Tisha, dia juga bersyukur kerana Ferhad sudi mengambilnya sebagai artis di bawah naungan syarikatnya iaitu Beaming Stars Management.
Malah Tisha akan muncul dengan sebuah 'single' lagu pertama pada bulan September nanti sebagai taruhan pertamanya dalam industri muzik tempatan.
"Sementara saya masih lagi dikenali, saya tidak akan mengambil masa yang lama untuk muncul dengan sebuah lagu baru.
"Muzik yang akan ditampilkan lebih kepada konsep 'R&B'. Saya percaya, dengan bantuan Ferhad dan usaha yang keras, Insya-Allah, impian bergelar penyanyi yang berjaya pasti akan tercapai," tuturnya.
Menurut Tisha lagi, dia dan Ferhad masih lagi dalam perbincangan untuk memilih lagu yang sesuai.
